# Monk

> Monk is an OpenAI-compatible fusion API for coding agents. Paid keys (`sk-monk-*`) may call `monk`, `monk-fast`, `monk-coding`, and `monk-free`. Base URL: https://monk.party/v1. Protocol: OpenAI Chat Completions, not native Anthropic. Monthly plan: Alipay ¥30 / 30 days, or Stripe $5 / 30 days. Education-domain emails get 10% off.

Monk fuses Flash-class models behind four combo ids. Configure clients as OpenAI-compatible. Do not use Anthropic / DeepSeek presets, and do not probe `/anthropic/v1/messages` (that path 404s; `both_paths_failed` is a client dual-protocol test, not an outage).

Default model `monk` is JEV-routed among `monk` / `monk-fast` / `monk-coding` on each new user turn; a tool loop keeps the previous combo. Explicit `monk-fast`, `monk-coding`, and `monk-free` are left unchanged. Recommended layout: a nearer-AGI lead model (for example `gpt-6-astra`) plus Monk sub-agents.
